Mercedes 7G-Tronic 722.9 TCM – Turbine Speed Sensor Repair
This is a repair service for the 722.9 7G-Tronic Transmission Control Module (TCM) used across a wide range of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

A common failure in these units involves the internal turbine speed sensors – Y3/8n1 (Turbine Speed Sensor) and Y3/8n2 (Internal Speed Sensor). Faults typically cause:

  • Harsh or erratic shifting

  • Transmission stuck in limp mode

  • DTCs relating to speed sensor errors

We professionally replace both sensors as a matched pair to restore proper transmission performance and reliability.

Compatible with many Mercedes-Benz models, including:

  • E-Class (W211, W212)

  • C-Class (W204)

  • ML / GLE-Class (W164, W166)

  • CLS-Class (W219, W218)

  • S-Class (W221)
