The BMW E46 remains one of BMW’s most iconic platforms, valued for its driving dynamics and timeless design. As these vehicles age, however, electronic failures within the instrument cluster are becoming increasingly common.

We routinely see faults related to internal power supply regulation, stepper motor failures (speedometer and tachometer), and LCD display degradation, including missing pixels or complete display loss. These issues can result in erratic gauge behaviour, intermittent operation, or total cluster failure.

Our service focuses on component-level repair, addressing the root cause rather than replacing the unit. Where required, we are also able to correct and synchronise mileage data within the cluster to ensure accuracy following repair or replacement of internal components.

This is a repair service, not a simple swap or refurbishment, designed to restore full, reliable operation of the original BMW E46 instrument cluster.
