⚙️ Nissan / Jatco RE5R05A TCM Repair – Solenoid Output Fault (P1757)

Transmission Control Unit Repair | P1757 Front Brake Band Solenoid Circuit | No Drive / Limp Mode

This is a repair service for the Transmission Control Module (TCM) used with the Jatco RE5R05A automatic transmission, commonly found in a wide range of Nissan, Infiniti, Hyundai, and Genesis vehicles. A known failure point is the solenoid output driver circuit, which causes fault code P1757 – Front Brake Band Solenoid Circuit and transmission operation issues.

Common Symptoms Repaired:

  • Fault code P1757 – Front brake band solenoid circuit

  • Harsh shifting or stuck in 3rd gear (limp mode)

  • No gear engagement or delayed shift

  • Diagnostic scanner shows solenoid command but no activation

  • TCM has failed transistor or driver IC for solenoid output

  • Replace or reflow faulty driver ICs, transistors, and control logic
