This is a repair service for the ECU (Engine Control Unit) in the 2000–2005 Nissan Sylphy G10, specifically targeting a misfire fault caused by a failure in the ignition coil driver circuit. These ECUs are prone to internal faults that cause one or more ignition coils to lose power or signal, resulting in persistent misfires.
Common Symptoms Repaired:
Engine misfiring on one or more cylinders
Coil has power and ground but no firing signal
DTCs for cylinder misfire (e.g. P030X) that remain after replacing coils/plugs
Poor performance, rough idle, or hesitation under load
No improvement with known-good ignition components
