This is a repair service for Toyota climate control units from 2002 onward, commonly affected by intermittent or non-functional encoder dials — especially temperature or fan speed knobs that stop responding correctly.

Known Affected Part Number:

  • GF-ST215G- / 55902-21020

Common Faults Include:

  • Dials skipping, jumping, or not registering input

  • Temperature or fan speed unable to adjust

  • Control panel becomes unresponsive intermittently

  • Clicking or dead feeling when turning the knobs

These faults are typically caused by worn rotary encoders, internal oxidation, or cracked solder joints.
