This item is a ZF 8HP45 transmission control unit (TCU/TCM). It is a conductor plate used in 8-speed automatic transmissions for various vehicles, including BMW, Audi, and Land Rover models.

 

Common issue with the range sensor on these units 

 

Function: It manages gear shifts by controlling the transmission fluid pressure and solenoid valves. 

Compatible with part numbers such as 0260550074, 0260550075, and 24347544941.
